Please Move Trash

Last night, like many Fridays, I headed over to Rififi for my favorite weekly party, Trash. As I approached I saw a line, which isn't unusual here. In fact, this is the only place I'm willing to stand in line at all. It's usually well worth the 10 minute wait. Well, last night was different.

First of all, I had to stand in line for about 25 minutes. Then as I get towards the front the doorman tells me it's a private party and that only regulars are allowed in. WHAT? This really pissed me off - for so many reasons. The first being that, I am a fucking regular. The second reason - I promote the shit out of this party every week, literally reaching thousands of people through What's Up. So, needless to say, I was offended.

Normally, I would have said fuck you and left - but I had invested too much time. I had a little chat with the door goon and dropped some names (which is gay - I know) so we were allowed to stay in line. Gee, thanks motherfucker. But we were next anyway at this point so we were inside shortly after.

What a fucking waste of time. The party was pretty dead once I got inside. Due to the excellent door policy, there was barely anyone inside. I know Rififi has been getting busted for overcrowding, but this was ridiculous. It was just plain boring - I mean the music was good, as always, but it was just dead.

Trash has been my favorite party for the last few months... it's time to move. I love Rififi but it just isn't working anymore, what with the raids and all. PLEASE move this great party somewhere else so it can be all that it used to be - it's not fun anymore and I miss it.
