If you haven't heard by now The Mooney Suzuki are playing 2 "secret" shows in the next two weeks at Sin-e. They are playing under the name The Patchwork Family. These shows are only $10, which would even be cheap if it was a crappy no-name band. To see the Mooney Suzuki for a mere $10 is unbelievable.
If you aren't familiar with the Mooney Suzuki then you are missing out big time. They kinda have an MC5 meets the Heartbreakers (Thunders, not Petty) thing going on, with a little bit of the Who thrown in. They are one of the better rock n' roll bands out right now... oh, and they wrote the main tune for the Jack Black movie School Of Rock (MP3).
